THE GATHERING meet Sunday, October 26, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Lower Auditorium.
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Pinar Coskun, from the UK Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. Dr. Coskun will be speaking on "Healthy Brain Aging and Research Updates."
Dr Coskun is an Assistant Professor at UK, and is actively engaged in clinical trials at the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging. She previously studied aging and longevity at Emory University, then focused on neurodegenerative diseases at UC Irvine. While there, she joined the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center inspiring her to pursue clinical neurology. She completed her internal medicine residency at UC Irvine, followed by a neurology residence at UK and a fellowship under Dr. Greg Jicha.
